been thinking of going there but not sure if it is worth the drive

I know this is a bit old but I just seen it...I am not affiliated with Dirty Foot in any way. I haven't been in about a year but I would definately say that it is worth the drive.

 

They were having some problems with permitting, noise levels, and various legal issues but they were working them out last I heard. They need all of the support that they can get. They are all about improving the sport here in Florida, something very much needed in my opinion. The owners are constantly making improvements and are very open to suggestions.

 

Camping is not allowed right now but riding is open friday, saturday and sunday. They were working on setting up special rates with local hotels and campgrounds until they are functional but I don't know the details. The trail system is closed until further notice...they hope to be fully operational at some point in January. They have a great dragstrip and just finished building a 1.5 mile mx track. They also have various mud pits for the 4x4's and are working on an obstacle course. They have a pond for swimming and a zipline avover it. I believe they are building permanent restroom and shower facilities so the campground can be operational. The rates were very reasonanble when I went last.
