AC-BANSHEE Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 Hey guys, i took off the black plastic heel gaurds when i chopped my fenders off, now all i have left is the metal "plates" mini nerf bar things hanging off the pegs. Is it safer to continue to use them? or is it better to remove them completely. I like the clean look, Im just afraid it makes a smaller gap for a foot to slip down and get caught between those and the tire. I do use full boots. Thanks! Quote
Bkm2006 Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 im trying to decided on the same thing.. i like the clean look of just the pegs... but sometimes when riding hard my foot has slipped a few times... Quote
decon Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 Gets some ims/roll design pegs, twice the size of the stock pegs. Never had any problems slipping or falling. Or you can run yfz pegs, they are just as wide ( http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142173 ) . Quote
springer Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 just take all that stuff off and take it like a man when you run over your foot and break ur ankle. seriously though, that shit hurts... Quote

Azryll Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 If your on a budget you can always add another peg (or more it you want) for under 15 bucks. I just went with two cause it looks better than tripple wide imo and is a hell of alot sturdier. Quote
