chayote86 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I recently rebuilt my bike after not using it for like a year well I took it out for a ride around the neighborhood and when I got back I noticed my 2 into 1 intake was super cold! What could be causing this? I'm ruining a 35mm thanks guys Quote
wfobasheeboy Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I would think colder the better. Quote

jpaegel Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 what jets are you using with your 2 into 1 intake. im having problems jetting mine and need a little help. i have a 35mm also and the 190 main is not enough, just dont want to buy a ton of jets to find what i need. thanks Quote
jpaegel Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 is that a 35mm pwk? if so, 190 is huge. i have like a 155/160 in my 38mm pwk and it is rich. yes 35mm pwk. it is running lean, plugs are white. checked for a intake leak already. it is really bugging me on what is wrong. i had a 38mm pwk but trinity said it was too large for a stock motor it had a 178 main and it was still lean. im ready to pull my hair out. stock motor boysen pro stock reeds pro circuit exhaust Quote
jpaegel Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 ZillaFreak what set up are you running? it ran fine with the stock carbs before i tore it down. think the stock mikuni's i had 280/290 mains in them, and it ran like a raped ape. got the 2 into 1 for a heck of a deal and really want to use it. any trouble shooting pointers would be great Quote
jpaegel Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 i had fatties on it, with vf2 reeds, +4 timing, cut head, trail port. it loves the 38mm carb. but what is your pilot and needle and clip position. that is maybe where your issue is? not sure i will have to pull it out. and check. this was sent to be jetted already for the 2 into 1 set up is what they told me. moving the clip down should help out, i will try that and check to see what the pilot is Quote
