gms1369 Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 My new head gasket doesn't have the UP marked on it. I guess its a cheap one but which way does it go? It has grooves in it. Do the grooves face up or down? Thanks in advance Quote

Jereme6655 Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 im pretty sure that dirty is right on this.......if i remember correctly when you face the "up" i beleive the raised grooves in the gasket wind up on the top (head) side of the assembly Quote
