10milmike Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Hey guys, I have a quesiton, I have a 10mil cheetah, bike runs great but I need input on gearing, I am running 22 11 8 10 paddles on the back, my gearing now is 15 Front and 45 rear. I want the bike to be geared for more low end what gearing should I use 15/40?????? Quote

I want the bike to be geared for more low end what gearing should I use 15/40?????? If you want lowering gearing you will need to lower the number of teeth on the frunt spocket or raise the back. Remember that changing the front one tooth it is the equivelent three on the rear. Quote
camatv Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 i run 15/40 with 75-78 14 paddle roll tires. pulls it fine.. you could try a 14 45 but i bet you wont like it. they like some load on them that woudl be the easiest change you may not even have to mess with yoru chain if there is enough adjustment Quote
