Banshee lost compression?

i recently found a 2003 banshee forsale and the guy is asking $900, he says it lost compression, and i am starting to get into the business where i buy broken atvs and fix them and sell them for more, here is the link to it: http://neworleans.craigslist.org/mcy/2518282216.html

i was just wondering what i would have to do to get it running, how much it would cost and how much i could sell it for. i was thinking just a wiseco compression kit, but im new to this so i wanna be safe and get advice before i blow money i dont have

http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/rvs/2516385487.html Gonna depend if you are gonna hack it together or actually do a quality re-build. Also depends on what is really wrong with it. If it blew a crank that lunched a piston and cyl you'll never fix it and make a profit because the market is down so bad right now. If it only neede rings you could hack it for less than a hundred. Doesn't sound like it has many extras and without a pic it's hard to tell.

 

Look around on E-gay for prices on piston kits and gaskets, it'll give you a good starting point for parts pricing.
