playin dirty Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 Wow. So I was the guy on the red and white banshee. My wide and I were helping the photographer that night with his lighting. He asked to get a picture of me on the line without a helmet to blow up for a kids safety seminar for what not to do. If you want to complain about people not wearing helmets, please come out to Apex in Las Vegas.... I have seen dozens of people.. especially small children, riding without helmets or any other kind of safety equipment.... Sometimes just in flip flops, with 2 or 3 of them on a quad, and without any kind of supervision...I have complained countless times... Even told them they can get helmets for as little as 30 bucks... But most don't care or get mad... People are going to do what they are going to do... You can only protect yourself and your family and hope others are smart enough to do the same... But I am glad that people do feel strongly about this and that more and more people are wearing helmets... Stay safe and have fun... Peace Quote

Peace did you ever ride in your dads truck standing in the seat, or ride on the tank of a 3wheeler while the old man did wheelies, ride on a car hood in the snow being pulled by a atv? how about skiing without a helmet? you are still alive right? camatv Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 i wear a helmet i like the way they look with some cool stuff on them i also like that if im in the trails the sticks and tree's dont smack me in the face.. and if ido wreck i wont scratch the hell out myf face/ head and have to pick out rocks or dirt for the next 2 weeks.. The common medical term for cyclists that don't wear a helmet is "organ donor," because when they crash they often crack their skulls and die but their internal organs are usually unharmed. I wear my helmet but hey, if someone doesn't want to, we need organ donors. Wheat Quote
