do i need to rejet

I just did some plug chops on my carbs to get the main jet size correct. I think I got it dialed in pretty close but I also just raised my needle clip to adjust the mid throttle. Question is do I need to do another plug chop to verify correct main jetting after changing the needle clip position. Thanks in advance.

i would, anytime you make a change in the carb you should do a plug chop.jmo

That's what I was thinking since the circuits overlap each other. Also, how do you tell that the needle isn't lean or rich? By feel and the plug color?
