Causes: air leak, improper jetting, dirty carbs. Overheating can cause leanness, leanness can cause overheating. Why do you think it's lean? Larry's Shee Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Did it just start this or been this way since you got it? What do plugs look like?Pressure test cooling system. Pull water pump cover and plate off pump. Inspect impellor, pull spark plugs so you can roll it over easier, hold light pressure on impellor and crank with kicker felling for gear skipping. Maybe try new rad cap. Quote
