How do I replace the rods on the crank?

By splitting your cases and removing the crank to be sent to a rebuilder, who will rebuild it and true & weld it. It is not a job for a do it yourselfer at home in his garage. You can split the cases yourself.

I have done 3 dirtbike cranks and that was not to bad you have to press the two halves apart then press it back together and then true it up it takes a machine shop.

I will not be doing my own banshee crank if it ever needs it it will get sent out to make sure it is right.

not saying you can't do it I would recommend sending it to a shop.

Better to just buy another crank.

whats the difference in a new crank & a rebuilt one if all parts are new on rebuilt crank?

Or your saying it better far as cost issue? :shrugani:
