421alkybanshee Posted June 11, 2011 Author Report Posted June 11, 2011 Help please, need an order of sequence on how to install this pancake bearing so i dont weld up another clutch rod and ball please!!!!! Quote
Sandfrk33 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 New pancake bearing does not attach to to pressure plate like the stock adjuster. It rides on the inside of the pressure plate. After you put the rod and ball inside the tranny shaft, put the pancake adjuster on the pressure plate and install with the springs. To adjust it, tighten the springs down, then tighten or loosen the adjuster so the arrow on the clutch arm lines up with the arrow on the case. Make sure you have some play in the cable adjuster just in case you need to fine tune it later. Hope this helps. Sorry I don't have any pics Quote
