Silentsoul
Has anybody ever tried the e3 spark plugs in a shee? I was just wondering if running them might help with fouled plugs.
So Cal Suspension
Has anybody ever tried the e3 spark plugs in a shee? I was just wondering if running them might help with fouled plugs. No, the reason you are fouling plugs is because you are either running bad quality oil, or running too rich. What oil ratio are you running, and what brand/type of oil? I ran my bike for two complete seasons (About 20-25 weekend trips), and never once changed a plug. It's not uncommon for these bikes to go 5+ years without fouling a plug. Stick with the BR8ES's and get your mixture right. Problem solved.
Silentsoul
I am currently running 32:1 with maxima castrol. I am thinking about swapping to redline oil, just have not done it yet. I hear it burns cleaner than the maxima. gotta_goatsfast
Do a plug chop. This will tell you if you are rich. I doubt you'll notice a difference in the two oils.
