gstaten24
So I had a problem last night. I'm rebuilding a banshee for a friend of mine and I had the top end off. Well I had a towel over the crankcase so nothing would fall down in there. Well last night my wife grabbed the towel to wash it and today I have a bunch of leaves in the crankcase. Now is there something I could pour down in there that would dissolve the leaves but not hurt the seals or am I going to have to completely tear it apart now? I know I shouldn't take the easy route but I really wanna get this up and running for him asap. Any help would be great!
SAVAGE420
Pour in a bunch of diesel and swish it around a bunch. Then flip the motor over and pour it out, do that a 3-4 times and all should be well. If there is JUST leaves then it will be ok if a tiny bit is still in there. If any dirt got in there, personally i would split the cases again and clean it all out by hand. Only takes a lil bit. Your wife now owes you one killer sandwich.
