badlarry Posted May 21, 2011 Report Posted May 21, 2011 hey guys my banshee is puking coolant at times. i might be a tad lean and i am running br8es plugs i think they are also too hot as the color is even brown from tip to threads so i may try br9es plugs and have the radiator cap checked for pressure tolerances anyone know how many psi should it be 7 or 14?? i know it is prob printed right on the cap but im not near it rt now?? camatv Posted May 21, 2011 Report Posted May 21, 2011 stock is 13 psi if you know your lean thats SOME of yoru problem. they DONT have a fan so dont be a newb and let it sit and idle for a while then wonder what the coolant is doing.. if you DONT have an overflow bottle then leave a lil room in the radiator for expansion or its going to naturally squirt a lil bit out.. if you do have a bottle fill the radiator all the way up and leave the bottle nearly EMPTY it will expand and go into t he bottle and you will have your proper level. Coupelx Posted May 21, 2011 Report Posted May 21, 2011 i dont run a coolant bottle and if i fill the radiator full it will puke randomly for a awhile until it finds a happy level in the radiator. Quote
