Wicked2Stroke Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 So I just acquired a '03 Banshee, fresh top end, t-5's, jetted carb, +4 swing arm. I also got a '01 with full drag port, trued and welded crank, 34 Lectron Carbs, CPI Out of Frames, Lock up clutch. Runs alcohol on +4 timing. I'm sure I forgot something but anyways I was just wondering what normal maintenance you guys perform on your banshees as these are my first 2-strokes I've owned. I know I have to purge the motor with regular gas mix after running the alcohol. I could also use some help on how to tune the lectrons. The guy I bought them from is a member on here and told me this was a great place if you are a banshee owner/rider. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance. Quote

I don't have any experience running alky but you can use the search function at the top right of this site. There is lots of good reading on alky. As for normal maintenance I always make sure my air filters are clean, clean and good quality transmission oil, change spark plugs every so often, keep jetting spot on and carbs synced...etc. Quote
