  1. I think that's a fair price, I'm in the Dallas area and you are going to have to spend $2500 just to get something in decent shape, I'd pay $4k for that in a heartbeat before I bought a yfz or raptor for the same price
  2. Nice video, any competitions like that in Texas?
  3. So do you mean just a cheng shin ice tire? Or should I put studs in the tires I have? I definitely don't have any experience with studded tires.
  4. Was just curious as to what kind of tires everyone is using for drag racing on dirt? I just got into banshees a (from a Raptor 700) and I'm having serious issues with hooking up. I've tryed launching in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd all with the same results. I'm currently just running some Dunlops on my gas banshee and they just spin all the way down. I raced a yzf450 with a few mods and he jumped 3-4 bike lengths right off the bat and I started to catch him but ran out of track. I have Titan Trekker II's on the alky banshee and they don't seem to be any better. Any advice other than tires on getting better traction would be appreciated.
  5. These are the pics from the guy I bought them from, was going to take some new ones today but the weather sucks. I think a member on here named camatv did the port work on the silver one according to the previous owner.
  6. So I just acquired a '03 Banshee, fresh top end, t-5's, jetted carb, +4 swing arm. I also got a '01 with full drag port, trued and welded crank, 34 Lectron Carbs, CPI Out of Frames, Lock up clutch. Runs alcohol on +4 timing. I'm sure I forgot something but anyways I was just wondering what normal maintenance you guys perform on your banshees as these are my first 2-strokes I've owned. I know I have to purge the motor with regular gas mix after running the alcohol. I could also use some help on how to tune the lectrons. The guy I bought them from is a member on here and told me this was a great place if you are a banshee owner/rider. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance.
