mar2001 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Hello folks I'm new here and new to banshee I have a 2001 banshee with t6s and I'm looking to mod it for more power without changing my pipes which mods I can do to add power its all stock besides pipes thanks Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 VF2's or 3's reeds, advance your timing is two easy ones. Porting even though the t6's are for a stock motor. If you're going to mod the engine up you will have to change pipes. http://www.toomey.com/html/pipe_systems.htm Then larger carbs. This is an never ending list! Quote
mar2001 Posted April 12, 2011 Author Report Posted April 12, 2011 Thanks a lot so I should first change to the t5s Quote

Not Necessarily, Im running T-6's on my 98 w +4 timing, cool head 22cc domes, k&n w no air lid about to install some vf 3's iv had no problems with the T-6's so far....after i port i might change other than that But cheap easy mods would be advancing your timing...theres a DIY sticky posted on here, or order one for around45-50 bucks vf 2/3's, cool head w smaller domes like he said the list never ends......Good luck w it tho Quote
mar2001 Posted April 12, 2011 Author Report Posted April 12, 2011 I thought a boost bottle was a waist of money Quote

06specialedition Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 If you only have pipes, you still can do alot of bolt ons for power. Air filter or ditch air box and run pods, reeds, advanced timing, cool head or milled head....sky is the limit. Quote
