The setup i currently have is fmf fattys into fmf silencers, also im running v force 2s reeds in it, and i mix 40: 1 does anyone know of the proper jet setup to run? Because i was told it has 320 mains and not sure of the other also im not running an airbox lid didnt get with the quad. Should i run one or not necessary. it currently runs horrible and there is not alot of power the pistons and rings are new according to previous owner. also my other banshee runs really well but it smokes real bad any ideas whats causing this to happen . any info would be greatly appreicated thank you sincerly newbie. CFH87 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 It smokes really bad because its a 2 stroke and he probably doesn't have it jetted correctly. I would take this to the jetting & exhaust section they will help you better than I can... Quote
Infamous039 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Leave the airbox lid OFF for better air flow. With NO port work. You should be close to 280-300 Main Jets, 27.5 pilot jet, needle middle clip, 1.5 to 2 turns on the air screw. Quote
