hello from michigan. new to baanshees.

Hey guys. I've been riding for years but I have recently bought my first banshee, I have yet to ride it but very eager to get it in the sand. I had a friend of mine build me a 4 mill stroke, 34mm pj carbs.8 over swing, light dune port, extreme haulers. He says the bike is ready to go but it needs to be jetted. Problem is I've never jetted a 2 stroke before, I can but don't know where to start , the bike fires right up first kick. It has a brand new motor in it. It has cpi in frames and k@n filters right on the carb. Carbs are 34 mm pj as stated, I'm only going to be riding at silver lake and wondering if you have the same setup, and what's your jettings? Guy says bike should be around 70 horse.

 

I have only rode 4 strokes so I'm anxious to rip on this 2 stroke but just want to make sure everything is right before I go ride this thing. Any help is much appreciated, thanks .

I would start with 155-160 on the mains. start with needle 2nd clip from the blunt end. and 48 pilots. should be in the ball park and on the rich side to be safe. but.. I'd start there if it was me.

And yes rich is safe, that's how I want it to be, don't need to blow this thing first ride and ruin my taste for banshees.
