Hello fellow banshee junkies I am ice racing up here in Alaska and would like to build a 75-85 hp shee motor that will be reliabe at high rpms for extended runs in cold weather. I have already learned alot from reading this site. Any input is welcome I will start making phone calls today to the site sponsors on here for advice.

Is it possible to get good torque numbers with good hp numbers or is this a give n take area with banshees? Thank you all very much this site is the bomb when ever I have a question I get answers and I like the results.

Im workin on getting pictures of my rides up for ya all to see but for the time being Alaska Ice Racers on facebook has a few shots of the shee dominating the ice.

Thanks for the new addiction.

Give Jeff at F.A.S.T. a call and talk to him....he's a great guy. Tell him what you want it to do and he can make suggestions.......i'd also ask him about the new Serval cylinders. They are making 85-90hp on pump gas. And to answer your question about reliability.......any bike will run strong and reliable in the cold as long as its set up right (ie jetted correctly, tuned accordingly and running correct oil/fuel mixes)

Thanks Jeff. Between Kevin and Jeff I got some answers about the motor recipe I need. Thanks for the advice. Any one consider sponsoring a racer In Alaska?
