any ideas would be great. My buddy has a 485 PV cheetah, and it does not run like it should. Compared to another friends with the same motor it is lacking about 30 hp or so. The squish is good, 150 psi of compression (27cc domes). The carbs and jetting are the same as the other guys (35mm) . It is sluggish from bottom right to top end. Does anyone have any ideas ideas. Please help

Rappy, I have 38mm carbs on mine. And 25cc domes. Also have a drag port. IDK what Carl has for porting.

Try switching the carbs to see if it helps. If it's sluggish through the entire RPM range something big is going on. Does it run worth a darn? Or run really bad.

I rode it back in November. It ran like a stock cylinder banshee. I told him i'd look at it if he wants.

Gotcha, just seems like for a motor that big to run bad, it'd be stuttering or sputtering or something.
