Another thing to check is your jetting. I'm sure Kevin got you pretty close, but do a plug chop just so you know your spot on IMO. -Zach Quote

I HAVE ALSO USED MOOSE BRAND STATORS WITH NO TROUBLE. MY ADVICE IS TO POST A WANTED AD IN THE WANTED SECTION AND TO PRESS THE "CAPS LOCK" BUTTON ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF YOUR KEYBOARD. See, it works. BigRed350x Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Definitely ditch the ricky stator junk. I'd pick up a GOOD stock unit, and cut off & replace the spark plug caps. Check your coil connections and make sure everything is grounded good. You should also check your flywheel pickup coil gap and make sure its set right. You won't be disappointed with the porting. Kevin does awesome work! Once you're sure you have good electrical on the bike, then do a plug chop and start checking your jetting. The drag port will use bigger jets. Quote

The bad news is that the person he got it from had apparently wanted the connector worse than they needed the actual stator so the wires have been cut where the connector attaches to the harness.
