redandwhitebanshee Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 hey guys, is it worth getting a timing plate to put on my banshee? whats the advantages and disadvantages of getting one? is it difficult to install? and what does it do exactly?ive been reading about so many different things that i could do to modify it. i mainly ride on sandy/rocky desert and im trying to modify my bike to make it fast and a good agile quad thats good for jumping. Larry's Shee Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Hey, welcome to BHQ!! Advancing your timeing gives a little more in the bottom end. Do a little searching to understand more. There is a sticky on modifying stock plate to get +4*. If you get a plate ,go with billit not cast. Several of the site sponsers offer them including Charriot who makes them right here in Michigan !! You will need a proper flywheel puller to do this modification. Quote
