I need to know if the dividers in the stock intakes or V-Force reeds are helpful or really dont matter. Thanks for the help

The reeds need something to close against, or the whole purpose of the reed cage won't work. lol. If you remove the dividers you won't have the support the reeds need to work properly.

Well the reason i asked, i am running billet intakes that had them removed to run V-force reeds and i want to go back to a normal cage with decent reeds and your telling me that would be a bad choice correct?

what's wrong with the v-force reeds. i like them over the stock ones.i have V3. jmo

well i finaly decided that big red thought i meant the cage divider itself been riding 2 strokes all my life i know you cant alter that. And Bansheesrtoys i guess im my opinion i had a set of cages worked over by vitos in my first banshee with a 4 mil. And am currently running V force 2s in my new banshee and really think my other ones performed better. My Original ? was is there a use for the intake dividers that slide in stock cages on stock intakes or the prodesign billet intakes.
