30years Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 I have an 03 with stock stroke, just replaced top end, v force 3, 1/2 inch carb spacers, 34mm mikuni round slide's, k'n with no lid, and fmf sst's with matching silencers. I don't know how many turns out the air screws should be, and don't know if i need to change jets at all. Running 280 mains, whatever stock pilots are for that size carb, and needle one groove down from the original setting from when i bought the carbs new. Runs and idles fine, but want to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks for the help. Quote

Try from 1 to 2 turns and see what your bike likes... then go up or down from there Quote

Any idea on what size main and pilots I should be running?/Users/kimhohensee/Desktop/DSCN0608.JPG Quote
