i was wondering if it makes a diffence if you run the reed spacers in order of reed spacer, reed cage , then carb boot, or if you run them reed cage, reed spacer, carb boot.? i only ask because i seen the 350 alky banshee running them the second way i stated but i run mine spacer, reed, carb boot.

I've seen them run both ways but I run mine spacer, reed cage, carb boot because I like my stuffers deep into the reed cage but I dont know if any of it really matters. The main advantage to them is to get your left carb to clear the clutch arm better.

Are you running bigger carbs?

The reason I ask is, I really dont think there is a performance gain with spacers... they are mainly used to clear larger carbs....and its just another place to have a possible air leak, thats my opinion at least.

Yes, I have PJ's on it and on the bike that I have stock carbs on I dont use them at all. I dont think there is any gain at all, it lengthens your intake tract a quarter inch or so but Im not sure that has any effect on a 2 stroke.
