I want to replace all 8 screws that hold the float bowls on stock carbs. Whats the best place to get these? I've looked on stadium yamaha and didn't see any, And my local stealership only has 2.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance. -Zach

I finally got tired of the screw heads getting jacked up so I went to ace hardware and got allen head screws for them. Works great!!!

Any of your local hardware shops will have a nut and bolt section that should have something that will fit. I get stuff like that from ACE hardware or TrueValue.

Yeah, I went to ACE and got the stainless allen screws for all my carbs. They don't round over like the phillips heads do. Also alot easyer to put them on the allen wrench and then insert them. Trying to get them to stick to the phillips head tip.....even with it magnitized was always touch and go, and my hands are too big to fit in some of the tight spaces. Stainless allens all the way! :headbang:

Always one of the first things I do...

Any hardware store should have metric stainless and possibly chrome as well.

Ace does have a nice assortment.

I can't stand the phillips screw heads on them.

With a hex/allen head, you just snug 'em down with a T handle and be done.

Yeah swapping my mains for the winter, the Phillips heads are getting pretty trashed. Maybe I'll check out home depot or lowes since the closest ace is like 25 miles from me.
