Kev55 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Had to replace one of my intake manifolds so i got one for cheap off this guy on craigslist but it was only until i left that i realized that the flanges were cut off. So i text the guy asking why and he said they are better that way... So Im guessing it was to fit a different reed cage or maybe for porting or something. I haven't install it yet but I wanted to see if anyone else has heard of something like this before? should i take off the other manifold and do the same? or is this guy taking me for a ride and should i just try to get my money back? I mean it was $10 so its really no biggy but still Quote
Blewbyu Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 If your talking about what i think you are, then yes they have to be cut off for v-force reeds. Quote
dave5.0 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 You mean the stuffers that poke into the reed cages? Sounds like what your talking about. Shouldn't make much difference. I would think you want them to be the same so they flow evenly though. Some reeds you have to cut em off. Quote
Kev55 Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 ya were talking about the same thing, wasnt sure what to call them. Ya i figured it was something like that. Thanks for the input! Quote
