small cog behind clutch

could someone tell me what the small cog behind the clutch is? mine has a broken tooth and is loose to shake, and would it be a easy fix. i havnt worked on quads before newbie here

it`s the idler gear, bushing wears out , which makes it sloppy, can be sloppy enough to knock the clip off, and chip up the end of the tranny shaft, order a new one from fast or m&m and replace it, pull the basket it`s just held on by a lil clip.

I think that little gear is expensive. Sounds like u need one though. I think fast sells a replacement bushing that you can put in place of the stocker. It's harder then the soft one that wears out. That's a pretty common deal.
