Elka Long Travel Quadruple Rate Shocks

I have a pair of 19.00" Elka Elite front shocks for sale. They are quadruple rate with High and Low speed compression, rebound, and preload adjustments. The first spring is a zero preload spring for a lower ride height. Four rubber mounting cushions for the reservoirs are also included.

 

These shocks were used on my Banshee with a set of Janssen Motorsports Outlaw long travel a-arms (+3, +1). They were valved for a 175 lb rider and motocross riding. I custom ordered the shocks from Elka with remote reservoirs and a hose length of 46". The reservoirs were mounted under the seat to try and keep the nose as light as possible. You can see how they were mounted in the pics.

 

All Janssen arms are made by Fireball Racing. You can still get a set of arms from them. These are the same a-arms that are shown on the recent "Long Travel a-arms" post in the suspension forum.

I can't remember exactly when I purchased them, probably some time in 2004. They sat in a box until I finally got the quad running in Jaunary of 2009. They have only been run a small amount this past couple of years and are in excellent condition, almost like new. I am getting rid of them because I recently changed to a pair of Fox Float Evol's and have no use for them any more. Serial numbers on the shocks are B131144 and B131145. You can call Elka with the serial numbers to verify if you like.

I called Fireball racing today. The complete front end package for these shocks runs $650. That's everything including tie rods and powdercoating. He doesn't have a part number, just specify Banshee Longtravel A-arms.
