n0blefart Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Lemme know what you guys think of my shee's port and if its time for another one... I wanna get into a little bit of.dragging so experienced guys please lemme know. Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Intakes really aren't that big of a deal. It's all in the port timing, transfer height, exhaust height and width and roof angles of the ports, but I don't know how to port. I'd leave it to an expert unless you understand duration, port timing, blow down, etc. Quote
Darthwall Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 not bad but like the last guy said its more in the transfers and timing than the intake. if your intake is nice and the transfers are oem one side looks good but the work hasn't done much since you wanna flow more air Quote
zach15 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 ummm you could make ur intake 5 times better with boost ports makes a hell of a power diffrence. Quote
06specialedition Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Talk to Brandon at Wildcard Racing. If your porting isn't too bad, maybe he could work some magic and get more out of them. His # is in my sig, or PM him on here. Quote
armyvet Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 doesnt LOOK bad but the performance is what counts. If you arent happy go back in it.Theres only one way to learn through trial and error.Nobody was born a porting guru.Too many people are quick to undermine sombody wanting to learn mopre about porting.Read up gather all the info you can.Remember half of these so called "banshee specialists" were nowhere to be found in the early 90s,now everyone of them has the hot ticket for banshee performance...too funny. So dont be afraid to keep after it,if you mess up a set of cylinders,so what they are a dime a dozen plus youll know for future reference what works.I did my cylinders in my sig about 4yrs ago.i have had dozens of sets over the yrs...
