700vflash Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Well my right rod bearing at the crank went and now need to rebuild! Plan on getting new rods, bearings and seals. So my question is, can a home mechanic disassemble the stock crank and replace the parts? Quote
GrMeyer Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Unless you have a buddy that has a press. It is almost cheaper to buy a new one. Then you get everything new. I would look at getting it Trued and Welded as well. Then you will never look back wondering if a pin is starting to walk on you. Quote
