700vflash Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 I need to bore my cylinders and was just wondering what is the maximum safe size bore, they are currently .020 over? I have seen some pistons that are .100 over but seems there would not be much sleeve left. Quote
too_fazt Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 the 100 is the max and things start getting thin. if u mess up what u have just take it to a builder and they'll be able to tell u exactly how many bores u need to go up in. with .20 you have alot of life left in your cylinders, unless u send a rod through it.
