just got a new keihin pwk 39 mm carb. as soon as i turn the gas on, gas flow out of the overflow tube on the bowl. i dont know what the problem is! i have cleaned it a couple of times and cant find a problem. it continues to leak gas even when the motor is running. i need help fast please!

thats what i was thinking. and i have cleaned it all 2 times. but nothing seems to be freeing them up. what do you suggest that i do to fix it? i mean i have sprayed carb cleaner to try and free things up, but im lost for ideas

Adjust the float hight in 10 seconds. Problem solved. Need to be 16MM.

 

Use your calipers to measure the hight, then rock out!

alright, so i have the carb apart. and the floats in hand. how do i measure 16mm? could you explain that please?

Do it as said above by RadarRacing.

 

But also read this its written very well and explains in detail with pics.

 

Its VERY easy and quick to do.
