I have a 1995 Banshee with FMF Fatty pipes. No other mods have been done. I run the southern Oregon dunes with the bike and am curious what gearing (sprockets) works the best in this application?

My wife rides a Warrior so Im not riding real aggresive but want a taller gear ratio for less shifting.. Any ideas?

Thanks.

What size paddles you running? stock swingarm?

Running Sand Gear paddles (which suck by the way) and stock swingarm. The bike is bone stock except the FMF fatty's and the TORS removal.

Yeah I recommend Skat-Trak haulers..... If your wanting longer gears you could try one tooth larger in the front sprocket. the stock is a 14 tooth, so try a 15. You will have to adjust your chain of course.

I had a 15 on my banshee last weekend at sand mountain and I had no top end. My gears were a little too tall. dropped back to a 14 and was much better.
