theeechozen1 Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 I just picked up a set of 22x11x8 Tripple buff 8 paddle haulers from a friend real cheap. I also got some 22" fronts to go with em. I currently am running 15/42 gearing with 20x10x9 sand stars and I like my current gear. How far should I go down with these tires? I was thinking that just going to a 14/42 might not be enough. I weigh 270 geared up. My bike is ported with T-5s, PWKs, VF3s set up for 100 octane.... they are really really light.. not sure how much that plays into gearing tho Quote
06specialedition Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I run 21x11x8 haulers with stock gearing. I geared down and hated how much I had to shift, so i went back to stock. Seems pretty decent now. Quote
Pasi S. Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I would try 14/43 or 13/42 and see how it works. Quote
