n0blefart Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 When i first got my. Banshee it started first kick. Now after a couple of months when it fanally starts it bogs bad. It will start and then die down and when it finally starts to idle if i give it any throttle it bogs way down and dies. If i wait till it warms up i can hear it go to high idle and then it runs fine until i get to high rpm then it cuts out. I plan on putting a four mill striker in it anyways later and new v force reads and boring it and changing the filters out and everything what is the problem now though does anybody know what it is be please help and if u need more info just ask. Larry's Shee Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) You could do leakdown test, or spray starting fluid or brake clean around carbs/intake. If that doesn't work try cleaning carbs. Or try that first. We presume air filter and plugs are good. Make sure slide caps are tite. Edited September 25, 2010 by Larry's Shee Quote

Okay i will try when i.get home. Quote
Phelps Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 try the brake clean method around the intakes and reeds while it's running first. if it changes in idle speed you need to replace the intake that's leaking, or the reed gaskets. if that isn't it than you might need to build a leak down setup.
