BigRed350x Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Just get a machine shop to make you a spacer plate to put between the bowl and the car body. Kinda like a reed spacer, but goes between the bowl and carb body to move the bowl down further. Should be cheap for a machine shop to make you some... Quote

Look at it this way. What good does fuel in the bottom of the bowl do, if the main jet gets uncovered. One option is to remove 1 of the floats in each carb. That will give you more volumn of fuel in the bowl................................ Another option is to replace the needle and seat and run a fuel pump........................... Quote
wheredahoesatracing Posted September 22, 2010 Author Report Posted September 22, 2010 thanks to everyone for your input i will call m&m on wed. and i have one float removed out of each carb just kinda worried that they might run out on a long pull so far i have been good in the 300 foot drags but im going to ls in oct and i just want to be safe. what kind of mods do i have to do to run a fuel pump besides the needle and seat?
