Garys 98
Hey I just joined the site, not really new to the Banshee but having a new problem going on here. It doesn't kick start but will push start just fine. I've gotten lucky to kick it over once in the past day and it ran great but I had to push it to get it to start again after i stopped for a break. The compression is fine and everything. Any feedback would be awesome and forgive me if this problem is on the forum already, I'm not familiar with the search option yet but I will get there. Thanks. GhostRider
open the clutch cover and check the kicker and idle gear..
Garys 98
Thanks man for the reply, i saw it earlier and was about to take the cover off and decided to change out the plugs real quick since i hadn't already. The thing started after about 4 kicks and i rode it around the yard a little to clear it out. Then i pulled it back in the garage, shut it off and tried to kick it over again and it wouldn't start....not understanding this at all! Starts up quick after not starting the previous day, runs like a champ, then pull it in and doesn't want to start again. Is your suggestion still to check out the kicker and idle gear inside the clutch cover? Thanks again.
