i just rebuilt my top end, eliminated the tors, and advanced my timing +4. and the left cylinder's compression is lower than the right, or at least it sounds and feels like it through the exhaust. i have switched the plugs and caps. any suggestions????

Did you do a compression test to 100% confirm the compression in both cylinders?

Listening and feeling wont tell you the compression.

where do i purchase a compression gauge?

Any local auto parts store near you will have one. Or borrow one from a friend .

Prices range from $20-$400 or so for a one.
