port reed cages, and what domes?

Ok guys, So i got a 2006 that all it has now is CPI inframes and a K&N on a proflow and no lid. This winter I am doing the tors eliminator kit, and a cool head. I am also considering porting the reed cages.

 

My question is, if i do this and keep the stock reeds, will it be helpful? i read on other threads thay the boysens are good to get if porting the cages.

 

Also, I am at 5000 ft elevation, what size domes would you suggest getting, I do not want to run race gas, but do want to bump compression. Also, what brand is the best? i know one does not require studs to be changed, is either style better for cooling?
