is there a how to on remove the crankcase can you remove the bolt by the flywheel and the bold where the front sprocket is

is there a how to on remove the crankcase can you remove the bolt by the flywheel and the bold where the front sprocket is

 

 

two engine mount bolts under crank case,4 engine mount bolts to remove engine

o really you don't need to remove the bolt on the flywheelie where like the tranmission gear are. i think called the crankcase on one side and the other side where the sprocket thanks for fast response is i take a pic

if you are trying to spit the cases? yes you have to remove those. do yourself a favor and get a flywheel puller from one of the site sponsors for under $20 so you dont ruin the flywheel! also buy a clymers manual they are very good to have on hand

X2 on the book and puller and the bolt on the pressure plate will come out when you take out the six bolts and the hole clutch assembly will have to come off and kick starter and there will be a clip behind the clutch.it is a semi u shaped and has screws in it to hold tranny bearing"trans bearing retaining clip"has come off to split cases,seen alot of guys break them,trying to pry cases apart and dosen't take much to break the clip.
