I''m not huge into pickups but am looking for one. I understand in certain years, certain trucks had problems. If u guys know of any from 99-current that need to stay out of my garage, please let me know. Hopefully this post will be good for others as well. I personally am looking for a quarter or half ton.

Thanks

my buddy had a 2004 srt10 ram. worked like a champ.

This is another no specific answer to a question.

there's a certain number of any vehicles of any brand that will have problems. Mechanical stuff does break. Pick whats best for you in your price range and what you want.

08 and up dodge pickup trucks that have the 6.7 liter cummins. mine is at the dealer all the time. this time they are replacing the turbo. these trucks have some new emissions garbage that is destroying the turbo's and egr valves. the trucks have a 100,000 mile warranty but it gets annoying having to take it to the dealer all the time. hope this helps

Id not listen to anything this guy says. But that's just me.

Ford trucks run ok, but rust away. My buddie has an 2001 F-250. The box is already rusting out. I have a 1988 Chevy. Its still in good shape. Less rust then his 01.

Im still sticking with my original post. Anything with a blue oval. Buy a Dodge 2500hd or a Chevy 2500hd. Both are good trucks.
