Don't know if the previous owner had it right because they got gaskets and some kind of gasket maker also. I have stock intakes along with VForce2 reeds and a reed spacer. How should the assembly go as far as gaskets where and do I need special gaskets for the VForce reed cage or anything? I thought I saw a site had different gaskets for different reed setups. Thx. One gasket between all the metal surfaces. So 1 between cylinders and reed spacers, 1 between reed spacers and reeds and 1 between reeds and carb boots. Unless your using the reed spacers to gain clearance for the carbs, ditch them. Thats just another possible place for an air leak. beer.gif

The reed spacers don't do anything for performance. You need 4 total for your setup without the reed spacers. 1 between the cylinders and the reeds, and 1 between the reeds and carb boots.

I agree, i only run them so that my left 35 will clear my clutch actuator arm.

Well looks like I am gonna have to run them for time being. I don't have any shorter bolts than the ones that are for the spacers. I am getting ready to do my leakdown test. Does anything have to block the coolant inlet and outlets on the head?

Nope.
