TIM LUTZ Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 I did find 2 shops out of stste that will do it $50 & $65. Shoot me $70 on my PayPal and we'll call it even. I'll still be a little behind on shipping 2 ways. I'll probably get it fixed and keep it for a spare because (go figure) I just picked up a zero hour stock rebuild with Yamaha rods that's true/welded for $100 from one of the shops I called that didn't want to mess with it. camatv Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 dang that was easy.. anymore i pretty much just trust cranworks with my crank needs... IF you are having "local" shops true/ weld ask them if they use filler on the weld.. the welds need to be done with a TIG and NO filler rod. then the cranks need rechecked AFTER they are welded.. TIM LUTZ Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 I haven't heard back from CrankWorks yet. Got pricing from RDZ Racing and LC Performance. Both look like awesome shops. Quote
