To keep it from "freezing" keep it out of the cold !! To keep it from seizeing you need proper piston to cylinder clearance and don't run it lean. Quote

bansheesandrider Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 While a piston may be frozen, it probably won't be stuck to the bore. It has probably siezed becuase you had incorrect clearances, it was not broke in properly, or you ran it lean and/or overheated it. Quote
