HalfEvilBanshee Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 so i boiught a banshee not running, i rebuilt it and cleaned the carbs and it runs but only starts off starting fluid but will run after that just gotta stay on the gas or it will die then your stranded : / and the right side cylinder doesnt fire lalty for some reason or it will every once in awhile. whats my problem here guys? i dont have an airbox cover but made one to what i think works ok Quote
HalfEvilBanshee Posted July 22, 2010 Author Report Posted July 22, 2010 i just went out and fiddled with it again and realized it runs great on choke till its warmed just like anything else when its choked for to long it wants to die but then once it was unchoked it went back to the right side cylinder working on occasion what is this? fastbanshee8 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 It sounds like the right side pilot jet is plugged up. Take the carb off, pull the main jet, and then the pilot jet. Clean both of them with some carb cleaner, and blow them out with an air compressor. Re-install them, and make sure both air mixture screws are set the same on the carbs. Quote
