so i just got my 91 banshee running after a complete rebuild. first time i ever rode it i noticed how spanked the front shocks were. i know people say they are harsh, but i find them down right SOFT, way too soft. so im looking into putting something else on there. i also have a 400ex with 450r shocks on it. so im wondering if a set of 400ex stock pogos will fit. if i didnt give my old stockers away i would definately have checked them. so i just want to know besides yfz 450 shocks will fit?

idk what shocks would fit, but you could probobly have matt make your shocks better then new for less then the cost of used shocks on ebay, hes good. your shocks are from 91 theyre almost about to turn 20, its time to have them worked on, my 93's front shocks were blown out so it now has yfz450 fronts on it, and the back was totaled so im in the process of gettin a newer one, but dont get me wrong, rebuilt can be better. :headbang:

Any stock shocks are going to suck, the factories just don't invest much money on stock suspension except for the 450 race bikes. You would be better off trying to find a set of aftermarket shocks that were made for a Banshee and that can be rebuilt and properly valved and sprung for you riding style and weight.

unfortunately , stock front banshee shocks are not rebuildable, they are garbage throw-aways, the garbage is the best place for them
