mikechief Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Right side piston look ideal. Left side still looks new. What would cause this other than an air leak ? I am running a single carb. Quote
jasons Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 mine did that as well and i had a blown oring on one side causeing coolant to leak in washing the piston clean. Does it look like this blown head side good side Quote
mikechief Posted July 9, 2010 Author Report Posted July 9, 2010 No my good side is the opposite carbon is on the center squish is clean. I wasn't losing coolant. Quote

mikechief Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 post up some pics Yeah I guess posting pics is over my head. I did a leak test after new top end and at 20 hours and shee was tight. I took some rough measurements after I tore her apart and my squish was atleast .060 probably closer to .070. I've also been pulling my hair out trying to make her run right at half throttle then I lost spark and still haven't found it. I was thinking cdi. Quote
