Stock front shocks

Yes. Remove the shock from the bike, flip it upside down, and with the help of a buddy... one of you compress the spring with your hands, or two big flathead screwdrivers, and the other person remove the spring retainer. It will be "C" shaped, and slides out over the shaft.
